Proper attic ventilation is essential for a healthy, long-lasting roof. When a ridge vent becomes
damaged or improperly sealed, it can lead to leaks, trapped heat, or moisture buildup in the
attic. For this repair, our crew removed the affected ridge cap and shingles to expose the vent
opening.

We inspected the underlying decking, replaced compromised sections, and installed a new ridge
vent system using durable, weather-resistant materials. A fresh layer of underlayment was
added beneath for extra protection, followed by new shingles to match the roof and ensure a
