This beautiful home in Renton received a full roof replacement featuring CertainTeed
Presidential Shake TL in a rich, dimensional color that complements the natural surroundings
perfectly.

We started by removing the old roofing and inspecting the entire deck to make sure it was solid
and ready for new installation. Any weakened wood was replaced before adding a protective
base layer to shield the home from moisture and weather. Around the edges, skylight, and
chimney, our crew added extra waterproofing and precision-fit metal flashing for long-term leak
protection.

Next came the highlight of the project — the Presidential Shake TL shingles. These premium
shingles give the look of hand-split cedar shakes without the maintenance, offering triple-layer
strength and beautiful depth. To complete the system, we installed a continuous ridge vent
along the roof peak to keep the attic well-ventilated and energy efficient.
