Which asphalt shingles hold granules best?

Look for polymer-modified shingles (e.g., Malarkey’s NEX® or SBS-modified lines). The
rubberized asphalt flexes with heat/cold, so granules stay put better over time. Also choose
architectural (laminated) shingles—they’re thicker than 3-tab and naturally hold granules
better.
